Bug with Gradient Maps and the German Interface of Photo Beta 2.2.0 (1994) and Retail Photo 2.1.1 (Mac)

Recommended Posts

Hi there, with the german interface of Affinity Photo Beta 2.2.0 (1994) and also in the retail version 2.1.1 with german interface, the gradient maps cannot be saved as presets. If I switch to the English interface it works.

Kind regards Puck

There are several other reports of issues with German localization in the forums, e.g.:

For that second one, the trigger seems to be having the Font Size set to Large in the UI preferences.

Hey. It all seems to be fine here. Can you attach a screen recording of your workflow?

Of course :)

Interesting. Can you try and sort the LUT category by "date added" rather than by "name"?  Then try to add a new preset in the gradient map.

Thanks a lot! It works! But I'm surprised. I didn't know that the LUTs had anything to do with the gradient map.

Cheers Puck
