NotMyFault Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Hi, the fill tool is totally unreliable. Using a iPad M1 and original Apple pen, some clicks are recognized and the fill is done, other clicks are ignored. Staff NathanC Posted September 4, 2023 Staff Posted September 4, 2023 Hi @NotMyFault, With the status bar enabled and the flood fill tool selected I can see that the fill tool has two options, if you tap (or click) the tool will fill the area, as expected but if you drag (even slightly) this is meant to set the tolerance level and then fill the area, but unlike desktop it's actually doing nothing, the tolerance value doesn't change and the area does not get filled. With the additional precision of the Apple Pencil this issue becomes more prominent as it becomes more sensitive to what is considered a drag or a tap making the tool feel very unreliable, though this can still happen with finger taps. We do have this logged but is does appear to be missing some info, so i'll update the existing issue and bump it with your report. NotMyFault 1
