MikeTO
If you click at the end of a line with a break, the insertion point will be placed before the break character which is correct. If you click slightly below the end of a line with a break, the insertion point will be placed after the break character but shown before the break character so if you type the characters won't appear where you expect. If you type now you'll be typing at the start of the next paragraph, snapping the view to that paragraph which could be on the next page. This screen recording shows the issue. The insertion point will always be positioned before the break character as shown by the blinking cursor so that's where typing should enter text but watch the Text Styles panel because the paragraph in the first column is Body and the second column is Heading 1. Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted October 19, 2023 Staff Share Posted October 19, 2023 The issue "Clicking at the end of a line with a break character can incorrectly position the insertion point" (REF: AF-57) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.3.0.2083". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
