MikeTO
In most apps (MS Word, Apple Pages, and maybe InDesign), pasting without format pasted only unformatted text. Inline images, footnotes, index marks, etc., are stripped out. In Publisher, paste without format removes the text formatting but still pastes everything else. Is this by design? The workaround is to paste the text into another application and copy it back to Publisher. walt.farrell
It won't help you, but on Windows you could use Edit > Paste Special > Unicode Text to avoid that behavior.
