Mason M
I'm using Designer 2.1.1 on Windows 11. This doesn't happen with some fonts (e.g. Arial), but it's reproducible with the font I'm using (Stix Two Text). failure-case.afdesign
walt.farrell
You have changed the kerning between the "t" and "e" and between the "e" and "x" in the word "text". That may be related to your problem, though I see you have also changed the kerning between the "t" and "e" of "test" and it didn't cause the problem there. Dan C
Hi @Mason M, Thanks for your report! 22 hours ago, Mason M said: This doesn't happen with some fonts (e.g. Arial), but it's reproducible with the font I'm using (Stix Two Text). Stix Two Text is a Variable font, which aren't currently officially supported in Affinity and may explain why this occurs with this font, but not with a traditional static font such as Arial. Can you please try uninstalling the Variable version of this font and installing the static version instead and let me know if this resolves the issue for you? Many thanks in advance Mason M
Mason M
Hi @Dan C, That was totally the issue, thanks! Both SVG and PDF outputs render properly using the static versions of the fonts. static-font-version.afdesign Dan C
