Emeric
Hi, I'm working on a project and i need to create some shapes with textured lines. I'm currently exporting my file to be printed, and i need to "vectorize" these shapes. Apparently it cannot be done, as when i select this line, go to Layer > Expand stroke, the selected object is unselected and nothing is applied/modified. So i was wondering how can i be able to "Expand Stroke" to prevent my shape to be just a line, but a plain shape ? Thank you
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinit forums, @Emeric. Textured strokes are made with Affinity's vector brushes, which are not true vectors but are instead pixel images stretched along a vector path. Therefore, as they are not actually vector shapes, they cannot be Expanded.
