Peter Rididng
Hi During the focus stacking operation, there is a section were there is a Merge of images undertaken, just thinking is it possible for the software to be amended so we can capture the BW image and remove the progress box. My version of Affinity Photo is one. I have attached a screen capture to illustrate my question and feel this could be used to create a sort of art form. walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, Peter. First, for screen captures, please just paste the PNG or JPG file into your post. Then we can see it directly, on any device, rather than having to download a file and open it on a device that supports that kind of file. Next, there is no screen capture in your .pptx file that I can see, at least on my iPad; only a somewhat expanded version of your question. I had to import the .pptx file through Google Slides, however I was able to extract the following: Quote An interesting thought, is it possible through programming? To capture the image created when merging as there are some excellent black and white negative images that actually appear to be a form of electronic art. The image above is a screen capture and I suppose it could be achieved this way if the merge progress box could be removed and then crop the image. Just asking. Unfortunately however I can confirm that it's not possible to extract the semi-focus merged result, displayed during this process currently - my apologies. I'll be sure to move this thread to the Feedback section of the forums for our developers to see this request and consider implementing an option to retrieve this data in a future update. I hope this helps! walt.farrell
