Color setting

I want to set Eurocoated as the default color profile for CMYK in all Affinity software. After changing this option it works but as I restart the mac, color profiles are setted back to the original settings of the software (U.S. etcetera)...

This forces me to change color profile EVERYTIME I open a file, driving me crazy...

Hi @eeviac,

Just to clarify, are you setting the profile in the colour preferences panel?

That seems very strange, I assume you're running v2.1.1?

The only thing I can think to try is to do a factory reset by holding down the Ctrl Key when launching the app and then clicking Clear when the Clear User Data dialog appears leaving the default options checked and then seeing if that makes any difference after a reboot...

I tried to Clear user data but the problem is still the there.

In the attached video you can see what happen... am I doing it the wrong way?

Hi @eeviac,

I can't see that you're doing anything incorrectly, I've just tested this in 2.1.1 on macOS 12.6.8 (Monterey) and all is working as expected so I don't know if there is a specific issue relating to Ventura causing the problem...

I know @MikeTO is running Ventura 13.5 so I'm hoping, he may be able to test this as well to confirm one way or the other...

I tried in in Ventura 13.5 in 2.1.1 and in the 2.2 beta and it set and reloaded as eurocoated in both. I also tried changing my UI language to Italian just in case that was the issue but it didn't make a difference.

I'm at a loss as to how this could happen, especially if you've already tried clearing user data. Serif may have to look into this one for you.

Thank you very much for trying all this Mike!
I will contact Serif then...
