Designer and Photo open. Publisher won't launch.

Since 2.2 is in beta, it would be a good time to start looking at Sonoma compatibility, etc.

Serif has stated that Affinity is not compatible with Sonoma at this time. It is best to stick with Ventura until the issues are sorted out.

You can find more information on issues with Sonoma by searching the forums. Others have reported the same problems you have and Serif has already replied.

MikeTO was just informing you that at present, we do not recommend using Sonoma for any type of production work. We are actively logging issues against it but it is essentially unusable in its current state.

Please feel free to use this thread to log any issues with us so we can pass them back to the developers. Cheers.

Hey :-) I am running dev beta 4 of sonoma. I can confirm, that many crashes of Affinity Suite have been fixed with this beta 4. There is only one crash left to be fixed. If I switch focus from Affinity Software to the desktop or another open app, all apps of the suite crash.

But at least I can edit and save documents now – as long as I don't switch to the desktop or another App while editing.

Maybe that helps.
