Creating and Modifying a Text with Multiple Fonts Simultaneously

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody , I use Affinity Photo on iPad.

Is there a feature or a tip in Affinity Suite that allows you to create a text with multiple different fonts and modify it in one go, automatically applying the changes to all occurrences with the different fonts?

Example

You've asked in the Affinity on Desktop Questions section of the forums. For future reference, there's a separate section for iPad questions you should use, instead, to get better answers and avoid confusion. Though, for this particular question, it may not matter :)

A moderator will probably move this one for you.

If you use Publisher, you could use the Datamerge function:

  • Create a .csv file with only one row (but you could have different samples in multiple columns. In my example, I choosed two sentences).
  • In your .afpub file, you can insert a datamerge field many times, each time formatted with another font.
  • If you want to change the sentence, just edit the .csv file and update the .afpub

I apologise for any approximations in my English. It is not my mother tongue.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Oufti for their expertise and the valuable time they dedicated to providing me with a concrete example in response to my request. Thank you so much! You have helped me tremendously, and now I am excited to explore Publisher.

merci mec.
