How do I flatten a document to export as a pdf in Affinity Designer v1 ipad version?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Can someone help me regarding how to flatten a document to export as pdf, I have some images that are commercial use which I am required to export only if they are flattened. I did try to rasterise but that made them blurry, the images are vector and I want them still to be crisp and clear when flattened.  I also tried merge down but that did not appear to flatten them so the images could not be extracted when exported?

@stitchingfairy If you want to retain vector quality, you can't fully flatten/rasterise your design when exporting to PDF. That being said if you do rasterise everything it should look correct at 100% (intended view) and should only start to pixelate if you start zooming in past this.

Thankyou Lee for clarifying.

If vectors look blurry after rasterizing, you can try to increase document dpi.
