gwpriester
I downloaded and installed the new version. When prompted I did it again and was told I had the latest version. Just kvetching.
Staff Callum Posted July 2, 2023 Staff Share Posted July 2, 2023 Hi Gwpriester, This was likely just a bug if you have version 2.1.1 you have the latest version If the app prompts you to update again let me know. Thanks C gwpriester 1 Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
gwpriester
It prompts every time I launch the program. But About shows 2.1.0 so I guess next time I'll update. Thanks for your help.
gwpriester
Yes, I am still getting the new version available dialog when I open Publisher. When I go to install the new downloaded version I get a warning that a new version is already installed. So I cancel the install.
Oufti
@gwpriester Are you using macOs or Windows? Do you have moved the app from its original location? gwpriester 1 Quote Affinity Suite 2.5 – Monterey 12.7.5 – MacBookPro 14" 2021 M1 Pro 16Go/1To I apologise for any approximations in my English. gwpriester
Windows 11 No. It resides wherever it installed itself.
walt.farrell
Was your current version installed using the MSIX installer, or the EXE installer? (If MSIX, you'll have an Install button in the New Version prompt. If EXE you'll have a Download button.) If you have a Download button, which installer version did you download (MSIX or EXE)? How many copies of the application do you currently have installed? It's possible to get very confused if you have both the MSIX- and EXE-based versions installed. Windows Settings, Apps and Features, should show you all of them, I think.
