rchrdnsh
Please see the attached pic ... notice how the layers and groups are different colors? this is very distracting and hard to follow, because it looks like every other layer thingy is highlighted. Is there a way to make them all the same shade of darker grey? This is driving me nuts! Also, when i command click on something in the workspace i would love it if the layers panel jumped to that things as well...is that possible also? Thank you :-)
Staff MattP Posted March 11, 2016 Staff Share Posted March 11, 2016 You're seeing the difference between Artboards (not layers) and groups. Artboards are not quite a normal object as they have special functionality when you go to export, print, etc and with respect to grids and guides, so they deliberately show differently... They are normally used as a top-level item so the colour is not normally a distraction, but clearly this is not always the case. We can look to add some kind of control to this in the future :) Thanks, Matt
R C-R
Also, when i command click on something in the workspace i would love it if the layers panel jumped to that things as well...is that possible also? That isn't currently possible but what you can do is right-click on a selected item in the workspace & choose the last item on the menu that pops up, "Find in Layers Panel."
