HumanByDesign Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Crash happens every time Designer starts up, for the first time, right after the computer is restarted. If computer is then left on for 1 or more days after that, without a restart, Designer can be quit and reopened as many times as you like without issue. This problem began with the release of 2.0. Can be replicated every time. Version 1.x.x never had this problem. Issue does not exist for Photo or Publisher/ Using the same machine for both versions. Hangman Posted June 5, 2023 Posted June 5, 2023 Hi @HumanByDesign, It may be worth doing a factory reset of Designer by holding the Ctrl key when launching the app... When you see the Clear User Data screen with the first three check boxes checked, click the clear button and let Designer launch and then test again to see if you experience the same issue... stokerg 1 Quote Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 Affinity Designer Beta 2.6.0.3027 | Affinity Photo Beta 2.6.0.3027 | Affinity Publisher Beta 2.6.0.3027 MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse
