Snapshot Posted May 30, 2023 Share Posted May 30, 2023 Hello - I purchased and downloaded version 2.0 soon after it was available. Somehow, it didn't replace version 1.10 with version 2.0 on my desktop, but installed along with the existing version. The desktop shortcut goes to version 1.10, I use the Start button to get to the 2.0 ikon. If I use windows file explorer to find an image and click on it, it loads version 1.10. walt.farrell Posted May 30, 2023 Share Posted May 30, 2023 You can uninstall V1 if you want, using the Windows Settings app (select Apps & Features) or (I think) by right-clicking on it in the Start menu and choosing Uninstall. The V2 FAQ tells you how you can get a desktop shortcut if you really want one: or you should be able to right-click on a file and choose Open with and select Photo 2 to Open it in that application. FWIW, this is by design, so that by itself is not an indication of a bug or issue with your system.
