inkster
Hi all, I see there are a 2 ways to output an enlarged image, for printing art/posters for example. Document > resize document > (set size and method such as bilinear, bicubic etc) or File > Export > (set size and method such as bilinear, bicubic etc) Are these the same thing? Also, there is a 3rd way, to: Document > resize pixel art document (select 2x, 3x, and method etc) Is this supposed to be better quality than the other 2 ways mentioned before? Or what is the setting for best quality enlarging? Thank you!

They should operate in a similar manner and thus generate nearly the same results (as far as no bugs are involved in either of them). Basically should try out the different methods with some document copy and then urge yourself, which method produces the best results for you. - You may also additionally compare the APh created results then with some other results, which are instead created by some third party software for image enlarging. Alfred
Bilinear generally works well for reducing the Pixel dimensions of an image. For enlarging, try bicubic or Lanczos3: with the latter, the ‘non-separable’ option will give you a sharper result, but you may find that it’s too sharp (in which case the ‘separable’ option is the one to choose).
