does anyone know the URL of a one that was showing a composit of odd things such as a hand coming out of a lampshade etc.

Are you wanting an image or tutorial on how to do that?

Unfortunately I'm not 100% certain how your question relates to the Affinity apps currently, as I'm not personally aware of any specific tutorial we have created regarding a hand emerging from a lampshade etc.

Can you please expand on what type of URL you are hoping for? Are you looking for a generic Youtube tutorial link for something you have seen previously, or are you referring to a specific Affinity based video/article, outlining compositing in Affinity?
