Wobblie Posted May 21, 2023 Posted May 21, 2023 We have found in Affinity Designer but not in Affinity Photo, that if the window is on an extended display (example we work on laptops and have two other monitors connected) and the application is maximized, if you go to print or into your account, the popup windows go beyond the top of the screen (as per screenshot). It works fine on the laptop screen or if the application is not maximized. We have tried many display settings and scales but can not resolve this. Any ideas would be greatly received. Quote
walt.farrell Posted May 21, 2023 Posted May 21, 2023 I'm not sure why that's happening, and it shouldn't. But if you'd just like to move it, and in case you're not familiar with Windows shortcut keys: Press Alt+Space, which should get you a small popup window with some options. Choose Move from the popup. Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move the window to a better position. And if you're lucky, it will also reset the position so it starts there the next time. Dan C Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Hi @Wobblie, Welcome to the Affinity Forums & thanks for your report! I can confirm that I have tested this here in both Affinity Photo & Designer V1 on my secondary, external monitor and I have not been able to replicate this issue - both the Print and My Account dialogs appear within the usable screen area, as expected. Using the helpful steps provided by Walt above, you should be able to move these dialogs into a usable position. Once moved, do you find on further commands, these continue to open in a selectable location, or do they return to the incorrect location as shown in your screenshot? Many thanks in advance Quote
