Guides lock not working?

Toggling the lock in Guide settings has no effect on guide movement.

How do we lock guides in position?

The Lock doesn't apply to the Guides Settings dialog.

It applies when you're not in that dialog, and using the Move Tool in the workspace. With the Lock enabled, you can't drag the Guides in the workspace; only in the Guides Settings dialog.

Edit: Whether it should apply in the Guides Settings dialog is a related question, and I don't know the answer. The Help seems to indicate it should apply everywhere.

Thanks Walt. I hadn’t checked in actual workspace. I just assumed locking would lock them everywhere.
