DesignStationYT Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 At first I thought this was related to the new phased stroke feature, but I've had this happen with that on and off. Either way, where I've used a stroke that consists of dots, the first dot in the stroke is malformed when outlined or in an exported PDF. I did not have this issue in the prior version of Designer 2. MikeTO Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Hi, could you share a test file with some dots that work and one that doesn't? MikeTO Posted May 19, 2023 Posted May 19, 2023 Thanks, that's a good demo of the bug. That last dot is being converted to curves as a mess. There should be four handles and instead there are dozens. I believe it's actually the last dot and not the first - the first dot has a red line by it to indicate the path direction. It's interesting, the dot pattern isn't made up of perfect circles. If you zoom in super close and look at the four handles of the other dots you'll see the curve handles are off by just a hair. Perhaps this is related to the above issue. DesignStationYT Posted September 19, 2023 Author Posted September 19, 2023 Just to bump, this bug appears to still be present in today's 2.2 release of Designer. Quote
