Petar Petrenko
Transform panel works well when trying to resize an object already placed on page, but when you want to place a picture and resize it immediatelly (while cursor is loaded), Transform panel is inactive. MikeTO
It would be the same effort either way so I don't see an advantage to being able to do this. After choosing File > Place: Click on the page to place, click into Transform's Width, type a #, press tab, type a #, and press Return. Or click into Transform's Width, type a #, press tab, type a #, press Return, and click on the page to place. Both methods have 6 identical actions, just in a different order. Or am I misunderstanding your suggestion? The problem arise when you want to place a picture (drawing) and with the loaded cursor start to drag to resize the object on the fly. In this case Transform panel is inactive and you can't see how much to drag the object. Yes, showing the coordinates while you drag scale an image that you're placing would be a welcome improvement. +1 Krustysimplex 1 Quote Download a free PDF manual for Publisher 2.3 from this forum - now includes text formatting and styles Affinity 2.3.0 for macOS Sonoma 14.1.1, MacBook Pro 14" (M1 Pro)
