Seahog Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 It would really help users who sometimes have to work off-line if it was possible to download the On-line Help File(s) as a pdf so that it could be referred to during those times when the computer is not able to connect to the internet. Could you provide this facility please. Quote
A_B_C Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Hi Seahog, and welcome here … :) I am not quite sure, which help files are you talking of. But please note that the Affinity apps have an in-app documentation, accessible by selecting Help > Affinity Designer Help or Help > Affinity Photo Help from the menu bar. These help files are readable offline as well, since they are installed together with the apps. Anyways, a PDF version of the Affinity Designer help files was compiled by another user and can be downloaded here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/15080-downloadable-affinity-designer-help-135-ibooks/ Hope that helps … :) Alex Quote
Haffinity Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Affinity's in-app documentation is quite good. Because of some drawbacks in Yosemite's help viewer, I use Safari to lookup the helpfile contained in the application: I bookmarked it: This link should work, if Affinity Photo is installed on your Mac: file:///Applications/Affinity%20Photo.app/Contents/Resources/AffinityPhoto.help/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/index.html# If you have a suitable pdf converter available, you can convert the whole help file from html to pdf.
