impact Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 Hello, I'm looking for option in Affinity Photo to select some area with light texture and clone stamp it to wide area but I don't want source to be moving when I paint. Is this possible to lock that position somehow or use other tool trick to solve that goal? Maybe option to create brush from that? Greetings. Quote
NotMyFault Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 Hi, to create a new pixel brush from a pixel region: Export area as png file (size of 360x360 px will do) create a new brush categorie for yours create new image brush choose exported file done. you may need to adjust the brush settings, e.g. spacing. Other alternatives: create a pattern layer from selection, and apply a mask to it or move it down in layer stack Create an asset from a selected area Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | MBP M3 Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 | Dell 27“ 4K iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps.
