DGee
Importing swatch libraries ( ASE ) in Affinity apps automatically disregards the name of the library being imported and creates an "untitled"library which makes the process of managing swatch libraries very tedious. I have around 95 libraries which I had to rename after import and it takes ages. It would be great if you guys can add this simple feature which is the default way in Adobe apps and others. Staff NathanC Posted March 30, 2023 Staff Share Posted March 30, 2023 Hi @DGee, Looks like a regression over V1, this also works as expected in Windows. I have replicated this and it has now been logged with the developers, many thanks. DGee

Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted April 5, 2023 Staff Share Posted April 5, 2023 The issue "Importing .ASE files fails to import the Palette name" (REF: AFD-6537) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.1.0.1742/3". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
