However it asks for license activation and says I don't have a license and offers a 30 day trial. My ID I'm logging in with is correct and shows my original purchase. No. If you're an existing V1 customer you can get a 25% discount on the purchase of a Universal License, but upgrading is not free. What did you see that seemed to say it was free? Well I tried checking my history but can't seem to find the pages where I saw that if you had the previous version, you can upgrade for free, and just need to enter in your license. It's not a big deal at all of course because this amazing app is well worth the price, I just thought why should I buy it if I can upgrade for free? (haha) And yes Psenda, it's possible I saw "update" and took that as an upgrade to V2? What happened was, I formatted my computer for various reasons and my husband downloaded Affinity pub for me so when I went in and my license didn't work, I realized after checking my account etc. that I had downloaded V2.
