Can you explain this one a bit more, please? 3 hours ago, Mainecoon364 said: I want to put a smaller object in the middle of a bigger object. How can I do this? What kinds of objects are you asking about? Perhaps a screenshot of what you want to accomplish would help? The alignment options should do it for some cases, but they will be based on the object bounding boxes, I think, which may not give the results you want for all cases. 3 hours ago, Mainecoon364 said: 4. Mainecoon364 Posted March 23, 2023 Author Posted March 23, 2023 Note : This entry is related to the my original post question 1. As you see on the video I attached; Step 1 : I created a straight line with pen tool. Step 2 : Then I tried to move It in the middle of the cabinet while snap function is on. When the extended horizontal line appears I dropped the line there. As you say extended horizontal line presents It is middle of the object. Step 3 : I create a rectangular whie snap function is on on this line. I see the height is 103.9 cm rather than 91.75 cm. So It is wrong. Question 1 : On the step 1 I created straight line then tried to move It in the middle of the object. Can I directly draw it in the middle of the object? Question 2 : The line which shows the middle of the object is this line right? Question 3 : Why doesn’t It show the measures as It should be? So It does not work. How can I make It work? Possibly the middle of the page, or something else that was a snapping candidate. We would need to see your Snapping options, and more information about the other objects on the page. Ideally, a sample .afdesign document from you would help us explain it better. Mainecoon364 Posted March 25, 2023 Author Posted March 25, 2023 1) It looks like Snapping Snap To Gaps and Sizes work. While creating the second rectangle on the left of the cabinet. I try to stick the edge of It to the cabinet edge. The snapping here does not work. So It does not snap to the objects? How can I fix It? 2) I shared also a file for testing Allign And Distribute Feature? How can I do these separately? 2.1) a, b, c will be equal for every object. 2.2) a’s will be equal for every object. 2.3) b’s will be equal for every object. 2.4) c’s will be equal for every object. What Allignment Options do I have on Designer v1 and Designer v2? Can you share a Tutorial for It please? Quote
