edee Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Win 10/up-to-date/Dell I had v1 and v2 installed. v2 keeps freezing, so I figured I'd uninstall v1 and v2 then just reinstall v2 and hope for the best. I was able to uninstall v1 using Control Panel, but v2 doesn't appear in Control Panel. I rebooted and went back to the control panel, but v2 still is not there. I don't know what else to do. v1 worked Wonderfully. v2 Freezes so often it's nearly impossible to use. How do I uninstall v2? RichardMH Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 Before you reinstall, try resetting user data. Hold control when you start it up. I'm on Windows 11. There its Settings->Apps->Installed Apps and there's an uninstall option in the three dots. In Advanced options there's repair and reset. edee 1 Quote

I really don't want to uninstall/reinstall v2, because I have it setup just the way I like it, but I don't know what else to do. edee Posted March 15, 2023 Author Posted March 15, 2023 It looks like @MC909 comment helped the most: "reduce the undo protocol limit significantly down e.g. to 128", I hadn't realized that every 30 minutes AD starts to slow down A LOT and then at about the 60 minute mark it just gives up and closes. Turning it down to 128mb keeps it from slowing down after 30 minutes, now it just gives up and closes after about 60 minutes. So, yesterday I closed/reopened the program every 45 minutes and rebooted every 3 or 4 hours. I'm looking at it as a 'taking 5' break and just rolling with it. There isn't anything better out there, so until they fix it, I'll just go with it. Everyone, thank you for all your help.
