Publisher: Can't Undo Style Selection (by keyboard)

Recommended Posts

In Publisher, once I choose a style for selected text, it won't undo by keyboard shortcut.
(Windows 11
/ 2.1.0.1714)

It will undo by menu Edit > Undo, but CTRL-Z does nothing.

CTRL-Z does work if you click back on the document, but it takes twice since the first undo is re-selecting the text. Same with either paragraph or character styles, and the same if you've applied a keyboard shortcut for the style and applied it that way.

Works as expected in 2/non-beta.

There are several reports of keyboard shortcuts (such as Ctrl+Z) not working unless you click in the document first. This is probably just another example, not something specific to Text Styles.

Here are two:

The issue "Unable to use keyboard shortcuts whilst focus is in Text Styles Panel" (REF: PD-453) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.1.0.1728".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
