LCamachoDesign Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Every tiny edit to the values on a preflight profile will be recorded in the History panel. This floods it, making it go over the undo limits very quickly, and losing your ability to undo recent changes. See the attached video for a simple visual explanation of what's going on. The expected behaviour was that only the last value would be tracked in the History panel. For example, dragging the slider from 400% to 40% should only count as 1 entry. Dragging the slider again to 120% should be just one another entry too. I'm using the Windows Store version, maybe this will help track this bug. Thanks! History bug.mp4 Quote
MikeTO Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Hmm, Publisher is applying the change as you drag the slider instead of when you release it. This should be changed not just because it creates too many history items but because if you have Check=Live then it will start preflighting the moment you start dragging the slider and keep restarting as you drag the slider. I duplicated this on macOS, too.
