Nadine_A Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 I am trying to open Aff Publisher but after clicking on the app it shuts down immediately. The other apps work perfectly fine. Any ideas? Quote
Hangman Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Hi @Nadine_A and welcome to the forums... Try holding the Ctrl key when launching Publisher and when the Clear User Data window pops up, uncheck Reset Sudio but leave the other two items checked and then click Clear. Publisher 'should' then launch but if not let us know so we can investigate further... Which version of Mac or Windows are you running Publisher on? I am afraid but I cannot find the path on my Mac. I also tried the search field without any result. Quote

Hangman Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Hi Nadine, No problem, thanks for letting me know... To locate the file @Pauls is referring to if you go to the Finder on your Mac and then hold the Alt key on your keyboard while selecting the Go menu, you will see the addition of Library in the list of options. Select Library and then you will be able to select the other folders in the file path, i.e., Application Support/Affinity Publisher 2/mru.dat It's perhaps a little easier when viewing files in Column View... I started Publisher and then pressed Cmd+N which crashed Publisher. I repeated this a few times. I then deleted mru.dat and it worked fine. Here's a crash report in case it's useful.
