I am trying set up some guides but the guides do not seem to snap to anything even if I have enable snapping functionality. Did I miss something?

Check under snapping options that you have snap to guides enabled. Long press snap icon to tap little triangle on snap icon to get menu.

Yes, they are both on. As shown in the attached image.

What I am trying to do is to snap the guide to the object (in guide setting), but the guide does not seem to snap to the object.

Hi YeYoung,

As far as I'm aware this is by design on iPad I'm afraid. Unfortunately guides on iOS don't work the same as they do on desktop the guides on iOS wont snap to any objects on creation however you should still be able to snap your objects to guides.

Thanks
C

Im having the exact same issue on iPad Pro. It wouldnt snap to anything, even when i tried changin the snapping settings. Which is such a shame tbh. - Update: i tried another snapping combo. Its kind a worked now
