I know it was in v1 and not having it in v2 is a real problem, especially on macOS that thas a drag and drop nature. It would be ideal to remove the app background and having the files in separated windows. As of now I have to separate every single file and it heavily slow down the workflow, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like this feature. Indeed, the detached window mode is pretty useless beside how it's bugged and cumbersome. I can't understand why they removed a feature like separated mode, I'm back to v1 too.
