  1. I came here looking for an answer to this issue. Is there a reason CMD+Delete ⌘⌫ can not be set to Fill a selection?
  2. I just installed the v2 demo. Thank god I didn't purchase this yet. Without Separated Mode, this application is unusable. Posting here in hope that someone will let me know if and when Affinity Photo version 2 is ready for use.
  3. This is just a basic user interface element that I'm 100% unable to do without. Thankfully we're not forced to upgrade and we get a generous trial period. Really, the only reason I'm interested in upgrading is to use an app that doesn't take a minute or more to launch like V1 has been doing for quite some time. Is Separated Mode going to come to Version 2 soon? If so, I'd like to take advantage of the discounted release price and pay now to use it later. I presume V1 is EOL'd and won't get upgrades. I saw another comment point towards Float View. This of course is different and does not achieve the same UX.
  4. I don't use Affinity photo very often but when I do it's been taking a relatively long time to load on my iMac (a minute or so). When it does load, it initially causes my entire computer to slow down for a few seconds - almost like it's going to crash the machine. I have an iMac which I run AFPhoto on most of the time but I also have an M1 MacBook. It doesn't seem to run much faster at all on the M1 chip. I actually came to the forums to see if this company is even still in business and updating their software. While all the other apps on my machine have been updated and running absolutely perfectly, this one application feels like it hasn't been optimized for 64bit architectures. Can someone direct me to any comments by the developers addressing the poor performance? Affinity Photo 1.10.4 (from the Mac App Store) MacOS 12.0.1 iMac 2017, 3.4 GHz i5, 48GB MacBook Pro , M1, 16GB
  5. I guess 1.9.1 resolves this issue. Although, there's a horizontal line going through the icons; not sure if that serves a purpose.
  6. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling from the App Store. I've tried to change my MacBook's screen resolution. I've hidden and "un-hidden" the toolbar. I've enabled / disabled Integrated GPU. I can't get the top third of it to display. Or maybe it's just that this icons are shifted up. The only way I can get it to display properly is to switch to windowed mode (or whatever not-separated mode is called). Affinity Photo 1.9.0 MacBook Pro 13" Mid 2014 Big Sur 11.2.1 Intel Iris 1536 MB
  7. It seems a little strange that there’s no way to select your white balance point. Am I missing it? I see Auto White Balance in Adjustments which is not the tool I’m looking for.
  8. On my US keyboard, the key to the left of 1 is the `/~ key. Unmodified, the character is `. With Shift, the character is ~. I'll use `/~ to describe the key itself. The keyboard shortcut for Shift to Next View is, by default, CMD+`. When I press the CMD+`/~ keys nothing happens. When I press SHIFT+CMD+`/~ I get the correct response. When I change the keyboard shortcut to SHIFT+CMD+~, the opposite occurs. Pressing CMD+`/~ then produces the desired result. I know sometimes third party software could override some global key commands but I haven't noticed any other key commands not working. For instance, CMD+S will Save and CMD+SHIFT+S with Save As.
  9. Just checking that I'm not missing a function. Is it possible to create new page presets? Otherwise I'll just work with templates to Save As for new docs. Affinity Photo Mac v1.6.7.
  10. Is there a published list of Keyboard shortcuts for Affinity Photo for MacOS? I've been unable to find one and have a few questions / suggestions. For example, switching between open canvases.
