  1. They are like that on macOS because it uses the native top bar. On Windows are aligned to the right.
  2. Hello, in the top menu bar, the dropdown menus are alighed to the right of the dropdown. It's narrow for the eye, it would be much more natural if it was aligned to the left to make it aligned to the menu title and to make searching between menus less tiring. Or if there was an option. Thanks
  3. Indeed, the detached window mode is pretty useless beside how it's bugged and cumbersome. I can't understand why they removed a feature like separated mode, I'm back to v1 too.
  4. If you open an image (or create a new one) and detach the window and then you open another file, the first file will disappear and you'll need to merge all the windows to see it again. This occours in 2.0 and 2.1.
  5. Does anybody knows if this issues are fixed in 2.1? v2 is unusable for me. I needed to go back to v1...
  6. Hello, is it possible to implement separated mode? I know it was in v1 and not having it in v2 is a real problem, especially on macOS that thas a drag and drop nature. It would be ideal to remove the app background and having the files in separated windows. As of now I have to separate every single file and it heavily slow down the workflow, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like this feature. Thank you
  7. Hello, I'm on macOS This is a video of the problems I faced: Video At first you can see, when I open the second file, the first one simply disappear. There is no tab or indicator to switch to. I had to join all windows into one to find it. In the first try you can see I'm using the lasso tool to take aportion of the picture and drag it onto the other one, but it just go beyond the viewport inside the same window. Then I try with the layer but after I release with the green plus nothing happens. Is it possible to always open files as separated windows? I know v2 dismissed separated mode (bad choice) but having to constantly go to the Window menu to float each of them is really exhausting. Is there a solution? Thank you
  8. Hello, I recently started using Affinity Photo 2, I have some issue but could not find any solution. I was working on a file and I had some layers. I opened another file for a quick editing and the first project disappeared, I looked everywhere but to no avail. Is it a default behavior? did it just deleted the previous project without asking for save? In addition, I would like to have all the projects on different windows (never docked). At the moment I click under Window > Floating Window for each file, but I would like to have it by default. Is it possible? Last thing, how do I drag a layer or a portion of image from a file to another? If I drag a layer onto another file the icon changes to the green + but when I release the button nothing happen. If I select a portion of image and use the move tool it moves ALL the image instead of the selected portion and still I can't drag it into the other file. How can I do that? Thank you
