As you can see on this video, the main screen is usually shown much too bright. It sometimes switches to normal when moving the cursor in and out. I have no idea where this one comes from and would be very happy if someone knows how to stop this.
I use Affinity photo 2.0.4. on a Macboob M2 Ventura 13.1

Thanks for you answer, NathanC!

Yes, that did the trick, thanks so much!

//edit: I first checked the mac preferences and couldn't find the button ;-)

I just looked at my initial posting and now I realize that instead of macbook I wrote "macboob"

Don't worry about it, a bit of Whiteout™ fixed it here.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Hi All, I encountered the same problem. Apple MacMini M2 Pro, 32 GB memory.  MacOS Ventura 13.3.0

Affinity Photo2 v2.0.4
Affinity Photo2 Beta 2.1.0.1742

• Bug manifests in both versions. When Metal is checked I get random cycling between normal & washed out image. Really puzzled me too.

Never thought to look at the Performance settings. Using Software or Open GL –> normal & stable.
