I ran into this issue and after a quick search is seems there's a huge bug there SVG and PDF exports are just buggy in the program (for both iPad and Desktop).

The problem is that I can't think of a good workaround for this. I started my project in illustrator and opened it in designer iPad to finish. A workaround would just be to transfer the file back over to AI to export it from there but since I can't export as a PDF that option won't work. It's very frustrating since it's something so simple and I am kind of pressed for time with no feasible workaround.

To note: the problem with SVG and PDF exports for me is that layers are missing on export. Even though they are showing in document with no clear option to "hide certain layers". This is also the case with EPS exports. Exporting as PNG, JPEG, works fine and perfectly.

I can provide a file - its just text and lines and the exported file looks different in just about every situation. The file is unusable as a vector - only the PNG esport is close to what I see in AD.

MacOS Monterey on M1 Mini Designer v2.04 Google font Figtree - which in my case seems to be the problem!!

I had to export type as curves.

You should not assume that everybody will have Figtree font installed you their system. And that's why you see various display inconsistencies among programs.

That's why converting text to curves is the right thing to do in this case.

Also, looking at your file you have a number of layers that are not part of the design and should be deleted before exporting your logo as an SVG graphic.

This is not a bug in the software.
