i was wondering if anyone knew how to invert selection on iPad?

When I hold the screen a menu comes up but invert is not there?

Are you running the latest version of the app? What do you see in the upper right corner if you return to the Home Screen and tap Account? 

The latest retail version of Designer 2 for iPad is 2.0.4.5.

Interesting I’m on iPad and it should just update itself?

ive looked on the beta and it’s there

but going to account on my retail version gets me to a screen I will post here but won’t let me hit continue? Maybe this is why it’s not updating?

Again, what do you see if you go to the Home Screen, and tap Account (lower left).

This screen that won’t let me continue and I then have to shutdown the app…

That screen should not come up if you tap Account (lower left icon) on the Home Screen.

Please close Designer, and start it again, and try tapping Account. If you want to record a video, please start it before you tap Account.

Interesting.

I can only suggest clicking on Not Now when you first get that dialog, as that should at least let you get to the data I asked about. But something seems wrong there.

It is really odd pressing not now closes that windows and goes no further…

Definitely strange.

I'm not sure if performing a Reset of the app would help (close app, start it and double-tap on the Splash screen with 1 finger), or if you should uninstall and reinstall.

(You could also check the iPad App Store and see what version of the app it thinks you have installed, and see if there is an update pending.)

I'm not sure.

For either approach, you should probably make sure that everything in Live Docs has been properly Saved into the real file system (and not into the Affinity Design folder in On My iPad).

I managed to clear them all… took awhile lol 😂 

deleted the app reinstalled it but same problem… it doesn’t appear to have forgot anything my deleting it… is there something else I have to do?

Probably worth trying to follow what it says here to get your app registered properly. You do have both an Apple store account and a Serif Store account?

i used knowledge from both of you in the end

i double tapped on start up giving me access to reset everything then used that guide to put all my details back in

Hopefully you can now fix your original problem, you can re-configure the pop up menu when you single finger long press on the screen like this, to uncover Invert Pixel Selection and put on the button of your choice.
