Lower 1/3 of raw file image sometimes gets distorted after pressing DEVELOP button.

Fault happens when a new document starts being processed.  Faults only occur with RAW files (Pentax DNG and DJI drone DNG). never JPG files.

Some samples below of image redraw distortion that occurs in the lower left 1/3 of the image.  Unpredictable timing – 4 samples below, but I had thrown away some early ones.  A bit difficult to get consistent repeats – it will happen once every 5 -10 images. I have had it happen after a single parameter adjustment and after multiple parameters have been adjusted.  The image distortion occurs after the DEVELOP button is pressed to incorporate the changes

Can you supply (upload to the forum) a RAW image (or two) where this has occurred?

Are you after the original raw file or the jpg file produced after the 'develop' button is pushed? The raw file is over 30MB. In hindsight, I should have saved the distorted image files as '.afphoto' files, but I was processing a lot of raw files at the time, in batches of 8-10 and so just closed those files without saving them. From memory, I actually reloaded those malfunctioning raw files later by themselves and they developed correctly. The 4 faulty images I have uploaded here are just screen grabs - hence are png files so would probably not be of much value to you.  The first few times that the problem arose I did save them as jpg files and then cropped the faulty sections out [I can probably locate those jpg files by comparing raw files with jpg files, but that would take some time].

@Callum. I have been going around in circles a bit to be able to make a reply. I have now sent you 2 different copies and 3 versions of each copy - including the screengrab version. I have also just loaded a copy of KP_1892.dng from my 'masters' folder, and processed that without any corruption occurring when I pressed the DEVELOP button. I had done similar with previous corruptions, so it has been confusing to me also as to what is causing that effect.  As I had mentioned earlier, I have not had this problem occur with Photo1 when processing batches of raw files.
