Sirzorroda Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 When I create a document using Designer 2.0 on Mac in a virtual machine a get a black background and cannot see my work. Background is ok in Photo 2.0 and Publisher 2.0. I am using Parallels version 17.0 for virtual machine in Ventura with Monterey as the host. Computer is M1 mac mini, 16 gigs of ram with 6 gigs for virtual machine. Quote
Hangman Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Hi Diego, It might be worth trying a reset of Designer back to its default settings by holding down the CTRL key while launching the app. When the Clear User Data window appears, click Select All and then Clear. Be aware that resetting the app back to its default settings will lose any custom settings such as keyboard shortcuts and brushes etc., so if those are important these should be backed up first. Let us know if that makes any difference. Staff NathanC Posted February 7, 2023 Staff Posted February 7, 2023 Welcome to the forums @Diego Acevedo, If it's still the same result after following the above, it would be worth unchecking Metal Compute (the last checkbox) under Preferences > Performance and restarting the app, particularly if the app is on a VM.
