I would like to report a strange bright green produced by tone stretching. The file was produced after stacking LRGBH 70 FIT files in 5 groups, Then using the composite macro of JR. Then editing by first starting out with tone stretching. Then all became bright green. Finally with adjustments all was fine. I wonder if this is a bug. Hope no one minds that I am still using V1. I got a server error when downloading the jpg. Here is the .afphoto result. But it does not insert?? ngc 891 final.afphotongc 891 final.afphoto     ngc 891 final.afphotongc 891 final.afphoto

Thanks and regards, Irving

Hi irandar,

I've done a little bit of testing, it seems to be related to GPU acceleration (on particular with the colour balance adjustment layer) disabling GPU acceleration in  Preferences > Performance should resolve this for you.

Hi Lee

I see Metal compute acceleration. I do not see GPU. I do see in Apple that it has something to do with GPU. Will try disabling this. Thanks a lot. Irving

Guess what Lee? It did not help. That metal business is disabled but the green still shows up after Normalised Tone Stretching The 2 tone stretching with (ND) give just a white result. The 4 others give green. I have had this before with other editing. I had saved the result of stacking and renaming groups separately. Regards, Irving
