printing or exporting partial design in designer

    Quote

    Area—instead of exporting the whole page, you can export the currently selected layer content, with or without other (deselected) layers, using the 'Selection Area' or 'Selection Only' option respectively.

  • For printing, print that PDF then, or hide/disable all layers you don't want to print from a document.

It looks a bit different in v2, but the options are still there. (If you only want to export a selection, make sure that it is selected!)

If you mean the PDF & other file type icons at the top of the export window, they have been replaced by a list of file types you change among by clicking on whichever one currently is named at the top of the window & choosing another from the list that pops open.

Otherwise, make sure the File Settings section of the window  is open & not collapsed. That's where the "Area:" choices appear.
