JimInFlorida
I have a layout in Designer that I would like to get a PDF of only a portion of the layout. Is there any way to print only what is selected?
v_kyr
Export settings PDF export Quote Area—instead of exporting the whole page, you can export the currently selected layer content, with or without other (deselected) layers, using the 'Selection Area' or 'Selection Only' option respectively. For printing, print that PDF then, or hide/disable all layers you don't want to print from a document. I cannot find the export dialog as shown in your post. I used to see that in V1 but don't see it in V2.
PaulEC
It looks a bit different in v2, but the options are still there. (If you only want to export a selection, make sure that it is selected!) If you mean the PDF & other file type icons at the top of the export window, they have been replaced by a list of file types you change among by clicking on whichever one currently is named at the top of the window & choosing another from the list that pops open. Otherwise, make sure the File Settings section of the window is open & not collapsed. That's where the "Area:" choices appear.
