Hi, i´m a fresh Affinity Designer 2 user, coming from Illustrator.

Situation: Circle with expanded strokes. I want to increase the outer stroke or make the inner stroke smaller. In Illustrator i could double click one stroke to change the size. In Affinity Designer i only get to the path layer where i can handle single anchor points. Is there a solution like in Illustrator?

Thanks a lot,
Swayne

Not sure what you have in mind with the handles / nodes of the circle object.
How about using the Appearance panel to apply two strokes to the circle as desired?

As in: a stroke converted to fill?

Like this:

MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2

It is not clear what that means. Some screenshots, and, better, a sample document, would help clarify your question.

Thanks guys! loukash got it correctly. In IIlustrator you just have to double click the inner or outer stroke to resize it. It is a bit more convenient but i am happy to see a solution in Affinity. Sorry for my bad English. Have a nice day!

Apparently this must have been one of the CC upgrade "features" because I haven't found any such double click mode in AI CS5… ;)

That´s possible! I hope Affinity D is a strong ´Illustrator´ app ;) At first glance it seems to be good.
