amber.1 Posted January 31, 2023 Author Posted January 31, 2023 hi, I have tried this and it didn't work Quote
Seneca Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 I tried to open your file in Publisher 2 and Designer 2 with no luck, sorry. Have you updated to the latest versions of your Affinity apps. If you are still in v1 then try to update to the latest v1 releases. If that doesn't work then, hopefully, support can chime in. Staff NathanC Posted February 24, 2023 Staff Posted February 24, 2023 Hi @amber.1 welcome to the forums & apologies on the late reply, Since your file is not recoverable by normal means, I can log your file with the developers to see if it can be recovered, however unfortunately I can't guarantee if it's possible or when your file is likely to be recovered. We would also like some additional information to see if we can work out the cause of the problem and stop it happening in future. To assist this process, please can you also tell us the following: 1. Which Operating System are you using? 2. Which version of Affinity did the file last get saved in? 3. What drive type was the file last saved to (select more than one if needed)? Local disk USB disk/Flash disk Google Drive folder OneDrive folder iCloud folder Dropbox folder Network location Other (please specify) Since I can't guarantee if/when your file will be recovered, I would suggest looking into alternative means to see if you can retrieve your file via a backup, one example of this is Time Machine Snapshots on Mac: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204015 Quote
