Strange bug at numeric value inputs... in all Affinity 2 software

Recommended Posts

Every time I try to input any numeric value in the transform (or any other) field, the first number is always deleted...

As you can see in the attached file, I'm trying to change the value from 506 to 762, but after I put the number 6, 7 is deleted.

So, after some time this is very annoying...

Big Sur 11.7.3

This seems to be a known problem, logged already with the Developers:

Wow, I just came here to report this as well. This happens in both Designer and Photo. FWIW, I have 2.0.3 of both, MacOS Monterrey 12.4, and I usually use the number pad on my extended keyboard to enter the numbers (if that makes a difference).

Just FYI, 2.0.4 is the current release since Friday, but this is not one of the fixes listed for it.

Hi @Igor_F, @MikeO,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
This is a known issue that's logged with development. It only affects Big Sur and Monterey (no issues in Ventura).
I've bumped/updated the existing report to bring it to dev's attention again. Thanks for your feedback.

The issue "[macOS Monterey, Big Sur] Resize Canvas, Resize Document, Transform panel input fields: issues when entering values" (REF: AFP-5856) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.1.0.1720".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
