Text flow button hidden in frames under 1 inch height

This might seem obvious but it took a while to figure it out ... If your text boxes have a height of less than about 1 inch, the Text Flow Button is hidden! Expand the frames to link them, then make them the desired height.

Tip: You don't have to make them larger to find the link icon, just zoom in a bit. The icon is hidden when there's not sufficient room to draw it but that size isn't based on the physical size of the frame but the rendered size.

I’m running Affinity 1.10 and see no triangle links on the edges of any text boxes of any size. Do I need to turn it on in preferences?

Are you using Publisher? That's the Affinity application that provides flow between text frames.
