jimh12345 Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 I'm doing projects where I rotate images a lot. Many (most?) apps have visible 'rotate' buttons, AP does not, I have to go to the menu. Sometimes I want to rotate an image multiple times and decide what works; that's a lot of trips to the menu item. The hot key is 'crtl-al-shift-up' - you gotta be kidding me. Yes I could remap it, but I can't remember hot keys across multiple apps anyway. I'm a visual guy. I just want a visible "rotate" button. Is there a way I can create a custom button in AP? Quote

I am puzzled by the shortcut you mentioned, through. There's no shortcut by default for the rotate functions as far as I know. And the one you named, Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Up is the shortcut for Text > Precise Raise Baseline, which is not a Rotation function at all. I was looking in the wrong app. Feel free to change the shortcut It's in the Preferences dialog. Edit > Preferences, or Ctrl+, (by default), then Shortcuts.
