StevChe
After installing version 2.0.3 of Affinity Designer the application crashes after a short period, regardless of whether i use it or not. I tried to uninstall and install version 2.0.0 again but now it's the same here. I tried to use my files with Affinity Designer 1.x but it is not able to open that new files and i cannot save as Version 1.x files out of Version 2. Now i cannot work with the designer. I also did not found a Log File that shows me what could be the problem. What now? I use a windows system and it did no Updates of any driver... walt.farrell
To help you with the "cannot save as Version 1.x files out of Version 2": One thing you can do is Open the file in version 2, select things, Copy, and then Paste into version 1. As long as you're not actually using new V2 functions, everything should transfer over that way. Staff Callum Posted February 3, 2023 Staff Share Posted February 3, 2023 Hi StevChe, Please could you try navigating into the apps preferences and under performance try disabling Open CL to see if this solves the crashing? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
