Koos Rensen Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 I hope someone can help me. All my brushes suddenly disappeared about a week after updating to version 2.0.3.. Re-import gives an error (it says: error importing brushes). Anyone know what’s going on? Or what i can do about it? AP1, still on my laptop, just works correctly. I’m still using Windoiws 10. Thanks, Koos (the Netherlands) Quote
SrPx Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 If you can re-import them or download them from your Serif account... I mean, you have the sources to install them... Maybe try to reset the Affinity apps where it's failing, by double clicking on the V2 app (ie, Photo 2) but whilst having ctrl key pressed, as this triggers a dialog where you can delete all defaults and presets, if I'm not wrong. Restart later the app and then try to import your brushes again. Until someone gives a better advice Koos Rensen 1 Quote AD, AP and APub V2.5.x. Windows 10 and Windows 11.
footeg Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 As you still have AP1 have you tried exporting the brushes from that to, say the desktop, then importing them into AP2 from that location. It looks like you would need to do this for each brush category. Quote

Than restarted AP 2 and it works again. Can also import other brushes again. I am relieved. SrPx 1 Quote

I opened the dialog by ctrl + double click on the app and than i could reset the brushes. Tnank you anyway for your suggestion. Chris B 1 Quote
