Jasurgeon
iPad Pro 11 inch 3rd generation running IOS 16.2 and affinity photo 2 version 2.0.3.321. App crashes every time while attempting to crop a photo. As soon as you double tap the screen to complete the crop is when the app crashes. You are able to go back into the app and the photo is still there, however no change has been made. It has happened with multiple photos as well as new and existing documents. I assume you are in Develop mode not Photo mode whilst cropping? Instead of double tapping the screen to complete the crop simply tap the view tool (hand). Jasurgeon
Yes I have tried develop and going from photo back to develop as well as reinstalling the app with no change. Tapping the view tool did fix this issue Edited December 28, 2022 by Jasurgeon Paul Mudditt
Staff Patrick Connor Posted January 5, 2023 Staff Share Posted January 5, 2023 @Jasurgeon Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums Thanks for your report. This is a known issue, sorry. We have a candidate fix and it should be addressed in a future patch, though possibly not 2.0.4 which is being built soon. Staff Patrick Connor Posted January 27, 2023 Staff Share Posted January 27, 2023 Sorry that you have experienced this problem with the 2.0.3 release of the Affinity Suite. We have now released 2.0.4 on all platforms, and using that build this problem no longer occurs.
