jweitzel Posted December 21, 2022 Posted December 21, 2022 Hello out there! I hope, this isn't already reported; I did a search. Bug: I can't scroll up to the end/the very last list item of the lists of menue items and their shortcut definition in: Preferences –> Shortcuts –> [arbitrary meneue). Only because of "dynamic scolling" I see for a very short moment, that there is at least 1 further item at the end of the list, but I can't choose it. It just vanishes at once. I'm in the preferences of AfPub and want to customize some shortcuts, e.g. for making text one point larger or smaller. If I scroll further down that list of menue-items and their shortcut, I see, that there may be a further list item, but I can't scroll it up, so that I could allocate a shortcut. Best wishes and all compliments to the Affinity team! Great work anyway! Johannes Quote
MikeTO Posted December 21, 2022 Posted December 21, 2022 Hi Johannes, which version of macOS are you using? I've never seen a problem like this. For example, here's a screen recording of the shortcuts for the Text menu in which I use the trackpad to try to pull the list beyond the top and bottom of the list - no hidden options are visible. What are you seeing and could you attach a screen recording? jweitzel Posted December 21, 2022 Author Posted December 21, 2022 Hello Mike, I am happy, that you answered in such a short time and very helpful. Thanks! Your question, what system my Mac is running, pointed me to the point "repairing" the symptom described: I am working on a 14 days old Mac studio with Ventura 13.1. @ a fresh install. But I have tweaked my 27" monitor (Eizo) to a non-standard resolution (2560x1440) in order to get an optimum of the free space on the screen and readability of the texts/icons. Now, after I returned to the standard resolution for the monitor, I also could reach the last list-items and *all went ok*. – And the same smooth functionality after I re-entered the non-standard resolotion again. I think, if you have the permissions to do that, you can delete/hide that whole thread. It will only entangle the audience. Thanks again, Mike for your help! Johannes Old Bruce and MikeTO 2 Quote
